about

These tracks were recorded @ TL Studios Greenwich, London in Nov 2014. The band was founded on the same year and it features James Buckham on the organ and David Dyson on drums.

Those are our first compositions written for this group. "Anelixis" is a composition by Pafitis which breaks the rules of a traditional organ trio vibe by introducing african rhythms with a 12/8 spice in it's groove and melody. The tittle of the piece is derived from the Greek word "Anelixis" meaning "development of humanity". Therefore you can hear this development from the statement of it's victorious melody, through our improvisation and finally the uplifting ending of the tune.

"Brother Funk" is a composition by James Buckham. As you can understand from it's tittle, this tune is clearly a fat funky groove with sophisticated harmonies on the B section by Buckham.

"Downtown" is again a funky tune by Pafitis inspired by the "Wes Montgomery" thumb style. The B section of the tune switches to a Latin vibe and before the ending it features a great solo from Dyson.
